As part of the WUD Publications Committee, The Dish strives to promote reading and writing on campus as well as providing leadership opportunities and creative outlets for UW-Madison students in publishing-related fields. The Dish is the first food magazine of the Wisconsin Union Directorate, providing recipe and restaurant reviews, dining guides for students with restricted diets, cooking tips and tricks, budget recipes, monthly feature articles on the Madison food scene and more. We hope that by launching this magazine we can inspire students to get involved in the rich food community of Madison, utilize the local ingredients that are so abundant in our city to create college-friendly recipes that anyone can cook, and expand their restaurant palate past pizza burgers.
